Courtship

Listen here!

Courtship is an entertainment-centered podcast for the person who always finds themselves rambling passionately to friends and family about the characters in their favorite fandoms. Join 22-year-old fangirl-turned-book blogger Courtney Kurhayez as she explores the different types of relationships between characters in her favorite books, movies, TV shows, and media adaptations, and everything in between.

Each podcast episode inspires a design of a movie poster for books, or re-designs of film/TV show posters, whether that be for theater releases or Netflix promotional posters.

Listen to my first episode and check out the designs, focused on a season 2 of Netflix’s Julie and the Phantoms promotion:

Episode 1: Julie & the Phantoms Needs a Season 2

In the debut episode of “Courtship”, host Courtney Kurhayez has her twin sister, Arden on to talk about all things “Julie & the Phantoms,” the hit teen Netflix show directed by Kenny Ortega. The girls talk about all your favorite ships in the show, as well as the actors that portray the beloved characters. Here’s to (hopefully) season 2!

Episode 2: She’s With Me is Becoming a TV Show

In the second episode, we learn that Arden never listens when Courtney talks about her favorite book characters, so she apparently learns of Courtney’s obsession with the Wattpad series “She’s With Me” for the first time. (Or at least, her feelings about the main lover interest, Aiden Parker.) The episode is accompanied by both teaser and theatrical posters for the first book in Jessica Cunsolo’s trilogy, which has already been optioned for TV by Sony!

Episode 3: Why DIMILY Needs to be a Movie

In the third episode of “Courtship”, host Courtney Kurhayez has her twin sister, Arden on to talk about why Estelle Maskame’s “Did I Mention I Love You?” series is long overdue for a movie adaptation.

There are a ton of poster designs below, so make sure to go to the slideshows to see them close up!
