Clients + Writing Samples

In Fall 2019, I worked with North Central College’s Center for the Advancement of Faculty Excellence (CAFE) to create email messaging and marketing collateral for the Associated Colleges of the Chicagoland Area 2019 Scholarship of Pedagogy Symposium. This was first time the College has hosted the event, and they will continue to host the symposium in the years to come. As an Account Executive at Cardinal PR, my role within the team was to lay the groundwork for the marketing of the symposiums in the following years. My responsibilities included compiling media lists and writing email messaging, as well as attending the symposium to take photos for future use.

I have had the privilege of working with young adult author Jessica Pennington by reading, reviewing, and helping to promote her novels for the past few years, as well as beta reading her second and third novels. Prior to the publishing of her third novel by Tor Teen, Meet Me at Midnight, I began assisting Jessica in a more formal capacity. I have been focusing most of my energy on blogger outreach, as well as some graphic design. My responsibilities primarily include connecting readers with ARCs (advanced readers copy) of the book prior to release. We will also be continuing to work together this summer to promote the book further, as the book takes place during the summer months.

Beginning in Spring 2020, my Cardinal PR colleagues and I began working with North Central College’s Department of Communication & Media Studies to expand their online presence and create content for their social media. The first video in our faculty spotlight series is available to be viewed below, as well as my student spotlight video.

Strange Brew Cafe is located in Palos Hills, IL. As Assistant Director at Cardinal PR, I oversaw the creation and execution of a Valentine’s Day campaign focused around hot chocolate bomb kits. This included giveaways and influencer outreach.
