Buried In A Bookshelf

Created in April of 2017, Buried In A Bookshelf is a blog dedicated to providing bookish content to all readers, with a focus on books that typically appeal to audiences in their teens, twenties, and beyond. The focus is placed on young adult and new adult books, most often in the contemporary romance genres, although I occassionally review sci-fi, fantasy, and dystopian novels. Weekly posts consist of a new book review and corresponding musical playlist, and a list of new books that were released that week. Additional content includes but is not limited to: author interviews, author guest posts, book news, cover reveals, book vs. movie adaptation comparisons, book recommendations, and other creative posts revolving around the bookish world.

Alongside my website, I also run two Instagram accounts and one Twitter account for my blog. The first Instagram account, @buriedinabookshelf, contains aesthetically pleasing book photos, cover reveals, and photos linking to the second account, @cityofglamour. My second account is solely dedicated to posting full book reviews on a platform other than my blog. My Twitter account, @cityofglamour17, contains links to my posts and allows me to connect with members of the online book community.

Had to say goodbye to my best friend today. I love her SO much & already miss her like crazy, but at least she’s safe now. Not sure how I’ll be able to do my homework without her cute interruptions. Swipe to see a tiny fraction of my favorite photos of her.
click on my instagram story for a surprise!
Swipe to see what it looks like when you have a socially distant on-campus picnic! (Based on my feed, y’all need some help!)
“Your Anything” is out today. If you have a spare few minutes, please stream it at the link in my bio. You can swipe to the next panel to see why this song is so important to us. And although it’s available everywhere you listen to music, we are not going to ask you to buy anything from us or iTunes, instead we ask that you consider donating to Black Lives Matter or any organizations that you believe will bring positive change to people’s lives. Thank you for listening. And in case it’s something you need to hear right now: if you’re finding yourself relating to anything we said up there in this post, just know that you’re going to be okay. Better than okay, actually, and better off for sure. It’s not easy, but you’ve got this. We promise. ❤️ @doubleidentityband
#BlackLivesMatter every day, all the time, not just when the hashtag is trending after yet another senseless killing.
